Why “Allegretto Editing”?

Allegretto literally means “a little cheerful” in Italian; it is a diminutive of allegro. In musical terminology, allegretto means a tempo that is swift but not quite as swift as allegro. I like the term allegretto for my style of editing, too. I look for the right balance between speed and thoroughness so that you receive the best document possible within a reasonable amount of time. Editing at a prestissimo tempo risks overlooking important details.
